I strongly suggest you copy off your work folder or files onto the desktop or wherever and work from them there, copying the new files back onto your Flash drive when you're done.

I missed the last blood drive as I was on medication.
Gave a few times last year.
Now I'm out the game for a year due to a recent piercing;)
But well done to all those who take part.

i'm very tempted...
I purchased Tweetie 1.0 but got bored with it and went back to TweetDeck. Still loving that dark theme from TweetDeck so not sure about Tweetie 2.0. Although, the Offline stuff sounds great!

I found it on an old zip disk. Since this seems to have disappeared from the internet (I didn't even know that was possible ), here's a link to it (http://db.tt/n1HzMs). Hopefully will be active for a long time...

FACT: Apple doesn't access the database cache, emails, passwords, photos on your phone either.
...I agree, but it's always good to keep corporations honest. Google, on the other hand, does try and get you to use their webmail precisely so that they can access it.

Whether there was good intent or not, I'm just thankful I installed untrackerd from Cydia; it continuously wipes the location file. JB FTW!
Have you noticed any issues without having this file? It seems to make sense this location tracking has benefits for performance of the phone in regards to signal acquisition.

For the same reason everyone else tolerates inferior service.

Why We're Screwed (http://www.businessinsider.com/why-the-us-is-screwed-2011-2#) (if we don't adapt quickly)
For the sake of this discussion, let's try to avoid actually talking about who is to blame or which political party is to blame, or which ideology is to blame... and just talk about the problem we're in, how bad it is, and what needs to be done to fix it. What sacrifices need to be made, and how quickly we need to make them. There's no more denying there's a problem. The only issue now is what the solution looks like.
Please avoid the blame game. Stay on topic so we can have a meaningful discussion about actual practical solutions.

While I disagree with the article's author when he says we don't spend too much on Education and Defense... he's 100% right about the MAIN problem.
What really busts our budget are the mind-boggling amounts we spend on our entitlement programs--Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid (especially Medicare and Medicaid). These programs are wildly more expensive than any other budget items, and they're also growing like weeds.
If we don't get Medicare and Medicaid expenses under control, the USA will go broke, pure and simple. And yet, almost no one in Washington has the stones to even talk about this, let alone do something about it. They just kick the can down the road.

Fine for a hand-held nostalgic trip, but the controls are the biggest let-down.
Some iPad games have this spot on,like Llamasoft's Minotaur Rescue and Minotron... brilliant and well thought out controls, the Atari pack games are just whack a massive joystick on the screen and hope your finger's in the right place...
If you really want a decent bash at those old-school high scores, get MAME for Mac... the iCade may improve matters but I prefer Mac+Xbox controller...
Anyone for Rainbow Islands? ;)

The next FCS better be extremely better if they intend on catching up with Adobe. By the time Apple gets FCP out next year, Adobe will be close to releasing CS6 and that will probably be another jump past Apple. I'm not holding my breath for Apple; they only care about their main cash cows now. Those being the consumer device/application markets.
And when FCS4 comes out it will be a year ahead of CS5. What's your point?
Apple probably know that they can't compete in this space, at least profitably. Both Shake and Xserve are gone. The Macpro on price/performance is really poor value. And whilst FCS is brilliant value, it never really leaps ahead in terms of added features or optimisation.
It's possible that Apple in 5 years time will be a purely consumer electronics company, with no 'computers' in the traditional sense in it's line up. If this bears out, Pro Applications and Hardware, don't really figure into that reality.
Please... without pro apps there is no reason for businesses to have pricey Mac setups. There is no need to have a mac if you're just using Microsoft Office and Email
We've been using Mac Pros as servers for years now... it has more function than the Xserve but is just not rack mountable. No big deal. And who used Shake that its loss makes an impact? Apple could cut Motion and I don't think many would care.

I was expecting iLife and iWork 07, but I am not overly disappointed that it wasn't mentioned.
I am, however, pretty upset that there was no mention of Leopard. I wasn't expecting a release today, but maybe even a release date.
The iPhone is amazing and shows how much Apple is ahead of the game, but I have no use for a phone. It would be cool if the next iPod had the same features, sans phone capability, especially Google Maps, because I never know where the hell I'm going.
I wasn't expecting any updates to the portable lines or iMacs, or even the iPod really.
The main focus of my excitement for today was Leopard, and not even a single mention! I'm glad they're not pushing it out before it's ready, but jeez!
