Is corp to corp a better option or should i ask my other XYZ company to file for my H1B?
Okay..Here is the deal..If you are on H1B currently and do NOT have any paystubs for longer than a month (usually), then you face the risk of getting an RFE from USCIS regarding your status.
This is YMMV meaning you may get it or you may not, nobody can say for sure...It all depends on how closely USCIS looks at your case.
If you have been on H1B status without paystubs longer than 183 calendar days, you have bigger problems. My recommendation in that case is to get a good attorney ASAP.
If you feel your case status so far does not have any major legal or immigration issues, my suggestion is to use the EAD to work and make sure you renew it on time and stay in AOS. The downside to that is if your spouse's 485 has any issues and gets denied, then you are immediately out of status. (If that happens, you probably have more to worry about than just your status)
As always, take the above with a pinch of salt and consult an attorney in moments of doubt...!

Ajay, did you receive 3 years of H1 extension? I am in my 5th year of initial H1B. wondering if I will receive 3 years extension when I file for H1B transfer with an approved 140. I am changing jobs using AC21 to join a new employer.

I was hired for a position that required Masters and I fortunately was in EB2, but a colleague of mine, who is doing the similar work, was put in EB3 because his manager created the position with a requirement of Bachelors. He had a Master's degree. Here employee suffered because of his manager's ignorance
Wouldn't say it is ignorance on the part of the manager. Ignorance is easily abated by the employee talking to the manager. Plus any good lawyer will ask the manager if a master's degree is required for the job before proceeding with recruitment.
More often there are other reasons such as ego issues ("I don't have a college degree so why does my report need a master's degree") or practical difficulties (necessity to raise the wage offered) that can cause an otherwise qualified person to be classified as EB3.

I took some photos today in poor light (please, sun...) and had to use ISO 800 to get decent shutter speeds. However, I find this isn't really useful with small birds as the noise basically covers a lot of detail. I find it difficult to on the one hand remove enough noise from the background so sharpening doesn't amplify it too much, and on the other hand leave enough noise so the feather details don't get smoothed out. So, what I did was use the magnetic lasso tool to select the bird (and inversely everything else), and used more Neat Image on the background than on the bird. I wonder if this couldn't be a trick to save some borderline images.
I'd appreciate if you'd critique these two images: do they look very unnatural to you? It does give almost a 3D effect, but I think I may have gone too far on the backgrounds.

Interesting poll. I have a small suggestion, though.. If you want unbiased data, you cannot ask leading questions on any survey. For instance, if you ask "Are you a free-rider?", and you are clearly conveying what is the "right" answer.
Ask very neutral questions on the poll. Also, make it anonymous to encourage participation. Pare down questions so that they are distinct and mutually exclusive.
At least that way you'll get better data to work with for analysis.

If issue arises with I485 while i EAD, that would a big headache of replying RFE or opening MTR etc in timely fashion. EAD/AP stand cancelled if 485 is denied.
Evaluate the odds of 485 denial and then take a decision (H1/EAD). Just don't get into analysis/paralysis mode.

Don't you think educated people as we are, can handle questions/queries ourselves? Renewing EADs, APs is just a routine form filing.

Don�t worry. You will be in a good shape if you had your AP. I just came back from France and Switzerland. Both countries gave me Visa on AP, employment letter. The process was lot smoother than I expected. I will recommend that go ahead and apply..notthing to loose.

As the dates become current, I see a lot of people asking the same questions again and again....why can't people do a little search on the forumn before posting repeated questions already asked before ..For eg: Filling i-485 and presence in US or filling without the help of lawyers....
I mean come on guys..we call ourselves highly skilled labours and don't even have the skill to find out answers to common questions by searching the forumns???? I am really begining to doubt the IQ of some cause if not how do u explain it...

Landing is when you formally enter Canada as a Permanant Resident.
It doesnt take more than 10-15 minutes. Its easier to do at an airport then by land.
Its also the time you will be submitting your "goods to follow list" - ie the list of itesms you currently have (Jewellery, Car, electronics etc) which you can import to Canada duty free. Anything you bring afterwards could be taxed duty.
